It’s been awhile since Visalia has had an event during Halloween to make your skin crawl…The Vossler Farms Corn Maze is a great family event and is perfect for kids. Adventure seekers will be fortunate this fall with a zombie experience at the Kaweah Oaks Preserve. Forever Young Events, LLC (FYE) owns and manages running events in the Visalia area and recently worked with the Sequoia Riverlands Trust (SRT) in hosting the Sasquatch 5k Trail Run in May of2019. The event was a huge success and doubled in size over previous years with 200 participants. Shortly after Diane Hayes tapped FYE with the idea of a Halloween event. Kaweah Oaks PreserveKaweah Oaks Preserve, a 344-acre nature preserve, protects one of the last remaining valley oak riparian forests in the San Joaquin Valley. What makes the property appealing is the parking and trails that already exist for public use. Oh and one last thing…It is creepy at night! What to ExpectThe event will take place from 5pm-10pm and participants can walk the course individually or in teams. There will be 7 waves that leave down the haunted trail with as many as 70 zombies wandering the property. Participants will receive a FREE “I survived the Zombies” T-shirt” and a FREE flashlight to guide them on their journey. The trail will have “Safe Zones” along the way that provide safety from the blood sucking undead. For those that survive and make it back to safety, there will be FREE Coffee and Hot Cocoa along with local Food Trucks, a Zombie Beer from Three Rivers Brewing, and a live performance by Call Me James. SponsorsSponsors include Premier Auto Sales as the Major Sponsor of the event along with DIG Marketing and HNH Nut Company. Participants can pick up their T-Shirt and Flashlight on Friday October 11th from 5p-7pm at Premier Auto Sales or at the event as early as 5pm. Highlights of the Event
